Overview
Halda ("the App") is developed by Kirwana Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy, especially given the sensitive nature of disability support information.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.
All data you enter into Halda — including NDIS plan details, invoices, provider information, evidence entries, participant profiles, and goals — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
On-Device AI
Halda uses Apple Foundation Models for features such as invoice scanning and the NDIS knowledge base. All AI processing occurs entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers, APIs, or cloud services for AI processing.
Camera Access
Halda requests camera access solely for scanning invoices and receipts. Photos taken within the app are processed on-device and are not uploaded or shared.
Face ID / Touch ID
If you enable App Lock, Halda uses your device's biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) to protect access to the app. Biometric data is managed entirely by Apple's Secure Enclave and is never accessible to Halda.
No Analytics or Tracking
Halda does not include any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or tracking mechanisms. We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology.
No Accounts
Halda does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. There is no registration process.
In-App Purchases
Halda Pro is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
Data Export
You can export your data from within the app. Exported files are created on your device and shared only through methods you choose (e.g., AirDrop, email). We have no access to exported data.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Halda schedules local reminders for appointments, budget reviews, and plan review preparation. These are local notifications processed by iOS on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
NDIS Rate Updates
Halda periodically downloads a publicly available NDIS rate configuration file from haldaapp.com.au to keep pricing information current. This request contains no personal data — only a standard web request for a public JSON file. No user information, plan details, or device identifiers are transmitted.
Third-Party Services
Halda does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only network request the app makes is to download the public NDIS rate configuration described above.
Children's Privacy
Halda may be used by parents, carers, and guardians to manage NDIS plans for participants of any age, including children. All data remains on-device and is subject to the same privacy protections described in this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
